Eucumbene lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Eucumbene, just across the dam wall at Eucumbene Cove, adjoining Kosciuszko National Park, the Lodge is ideally positioned to explore areas such as Jagungal Wilderness, Queens Lookout, Bald Hill and more.

Whether on X-country skis, snow shoes, mountain bikes or just walking, take a Lodge lunch hamper and enjoy this special part of Australia. If you prefer downhill skiing, the Lodge is approximately 50 minutes from Bullocks Flat and the Skitube which takes you to Perisher Valley and on to Blue Cow Mountain. Thredbo Village and Selwyn Snowfields both offer a variety of slopes and are within one hours drive from the lodge. It is a short stroll from the Lodge to Lake Eucumbene, a waterway approximately seven times larger than Sydney Harbour and offering some of the best trout fishing in the Snowy Mountains.

With no closed season for trout fishing in the Lake, one can either fish from shore or enjoy a Lodge hire boat and explore many of the inlets and bays in pursuit of that Wiley trout.

Eucumbene Lodge offers accommodation twelve people in five centrally heated rooms - two twin, two double and one four bunk room. All rooms have private facilities and tea making facilities. All quest rooms have hairdryers, fridge and clock radios. There is a fully equipped quest kitchen and dining area; a cosy quest lounge with open fire; entertainment room with log fire, projection television (satellite reception), books and games; laundry and ski drying room. Three outside barbeques are available for the 'outdoors' cooks.

We have boats for hire; rod and tackle hire & Mountain bikes may be hired at the Lodge but should be booked in advance.

Eucumbene Lodge offers the option of doing your own thing In the guest kitchen or we can provide full or part catering to your requirements. Set menus apply with special dietary requests being met given due notice. Lunchtime picnic hampers or boat packs also available if required. Let us prepare that trout you may have caught for the barbeque -Snowy Mountains style -for a taste sensation. Freshly smoked trout pate is available for purchase from the catering kitchen
